Archaic Cannon is an independent record label that specializes in artist development, marketing/promotion, social media usage, and artist funding. In addition to a record label we also host an artist community where artist are able to network, communicate, and find helpful tips and resources as they navigate the music industry. And finally, Archaic Cannon is a music blog and resource with content updated daily including album reviews, live show write-ups, related video, etc.

Record Label

First and foremost, Archaic Cannon is an independent record label based in Atlanta, Georgia. We’re a small team of 3 people all having experience in the music industry. What we specialize in is artist development through marketing/promotion and social media outlets. We have a network of designers, marketers, and strategists who know how to develop not only a band’s sound but an image online and offline as well. From there we use our network of labels, artist management groups, agents, etc. to grow artist and move them from level to level within the industry.

We also provide artist funding for select artists, which includes funding and resources for quality studio time and select producers/engineers/mixers, etc. Funding also includes resources for print and online advertising and promotion, CD manufacturing and distribution, apparel and merchandise, booking, etc.

Artist Community

In addition to the record label, Archaic Cannon is an Artist Community where musicians, bands, and solo artist can come together to network, communicate and share ideas. We are constantly on the lookout for new artist to join our music community. Music Blog

A large part of what Archaic Cannon is is the website and Music Blog. Our team of musicians and industry professionals take their time to write up album reviews, comments on up and coming shows or past performances, new music, various genres, upcoming releases, and more. Because the blog is made up of a team and not one individual, it’s refreshing to get various and differing view points on artists, albums, and music topics.
