Nate Currin drops new music video
Nate Currin has released his new music video for the song “Footsteps at my Back”, which is a part of his new The Pilgrim project.
Footsteps at my Back is in reference to the Valley of the Shadow of Death, and the footsteps behind the main character play a double meaning - symbolizing not only those gaining on him with the purpose of hunting him down and killing him, but also the footsteps of God - closing in behind him to pursue and protect him.
We all walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death - it’s how we handle it and more importantly Who carries us through that is the important issue. In the story as well as the album, Pilgrim is faced with temptations, blasphemy and even despair in the Valley, but realizes He is being pursued and protected.
The video for Footsteps at my Back was filmed exclusively at Christ Church in San Francisco, California - an over hundred year old building featuring original woodwork and architecture. The video was filmed and produced by Matt Odom, out of Los Angeles, who also produced Nate Currin’s Goodnight California music video. The song “Footsteps at my Back” was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia at Zac Recording, and is part of the project being produced by Simon Illa and engineered/mixed by Grammy Award winning engineer, Sam Thomas.
